Taken at Auckland International Airport, November, 1992. This aircraft was operated by Pacific Express in a global freight operation. A Bae Harrier was delivered from Britain to Whenuapai for the Air Expo in this aircraft. During the airshow, the Il76 was used for a 'mass' parachute drop. A good many people took the opportunity to look through this monster of the skies - but I didn't want to queue that long!.
