Taken at Rarotonga International Airport, 10 October, 1996 An Air New Zealand 747-200 prepares to depart. The aircraft is lined up ready to takeoff. The thrust from the four Rolls-Royce engines is terrific - when the aircraft started to rollI had to put my camera down because I thought the lens would get etched by the flying sand - my partner thought she was going to be blown off the sea wall!
