Night Glow

Taken at Claudelands, Hamilton, 1995. I like the effect of this image - some of the balloons were formed up as an 'avenue' which looked particularly spectacular when the 'glows' were similtaneous - lots of crowd countdowns to assist with this process. The amount of light put out by these huge 'lanterns' is amazing - when they all light up, no flash is necessary!
