DC-3/ C-47 Dakota

ZK-DAK (as a WWII period RNZAF C-47)

Taken at Rukuhia, 1991. ZK-DAK is a periodic visitor to Rukuhia for maintenance - although I don't think this was planned. As explained to me, the aircraft jumped from its tow when crossing a small drainage ditch and collided with the tractor. A somewhat unfortunate occurance.
