Taken at the Nelson Founders Museum, Nelson, April 18, 2000. Looking under the partially open nose doors. Visible in the port door is a hatch. Note the company markings on the insdie edge of the door - only visible when open. The structure visible inside is to allow easy access for viewing the flight deck. The doors can be opened with the red 'wheel' visible on the left. Also visible on the starboard door is an 'Elsan'.
