Bae (Hawker) Harrier

ZD668 (RAF)

oops

Taken at Auckland International Airport, November, 1992. One of the attractions of the Air Expo - this aircraft of No 20(R) SQN based at RAF Wittering is a veteran of both the Falklands and Gulf wars. I had expected the Harrier to be small, but was impressed by its compactness. Here we see some of the lads on the job. I'm told (thanks Tim) that the guy leaning against the 'SNEB can' is Sergeant (now Chief Technician) Pat Patterson.  The man with the moustache is Sergeant (now Chief Technician) Steve Cox, who is still a member of 20 Sqn (Thanks Fred). (If you can ID the other gentleman, let me know).
