Consolidated PBY5a Catalina

Taken at Rukuhia, Easter, 1995. I had seen this aircraft once before - as it flew over Hamilton. It was great to get up close - and I didn't expect to get this close! This view is looking forward from the cockpit into the nose compartment. Can anyone tell me what all those doo-dads are for?
