Taken at Tauranga Airport, 23 March, 2002. Dave Morss takes off to reposition the aircraft to Ardmore. Note the amount of flap used in what was a very short takeoff. Dave was accompanied by John Lamont in ZK-CAG, the two seat P-40N-1 in which he had been ferried to Tauranga. The difference between the land based and the carrier based aircraftwas clear when watching the Wildcat swiftly climb.
