Taken at Tauranga Airport, 23 March, 2002. Main undercarriage as seen from starboard looking forward. The hand cranked undercarriage really demonstrates the aircrafts links to the earlier Grumman biplanes - although the XF4F had hydraulic rather than manual retraction.
