Taken at Omaka Aerodrome, Blenheim, April 14, 2001. New clothes - a profile of the aircraft in a temporary scheme. Fitting in with the Boomerang and Kittyhawk on display, the Spitfire was presented in a temporary Australian scheme. The aircraft did serve with an Australian squadron - but in Europe rather than the Pacific. The sharksmouth really suits the Spitfire lines.
