A-4K Skyhawk

NZ6205

oops

Taken at Ohakea, December 13, 2001. Port wing and fuselage as seen from port. The aircraft only carries a centreline external fuel tank, so the undercarriage is visible. The leading edge slat can be seen in the extended position, showing both fences, and the vortex generators. Note the last two in the row can be seen on the wingtip, above the lights. Trailing edge flaps are in the down position. On the fuselage can be seen a reflector strip, the fuel system access door, and a cooling inlet. The red collision beacon is visible at the top. To the right can be seen the speedbrake with national markings painted on it.
