Taken at Ohakea, December 13, 2001. Rear Cockpit - view looking forward. The instrument panel is simpler than the front cockpit, but Front/Aft controls on the NAS means the instructor can select all modes as per the student through the UFC keypad. The instructor has full HOTAS capability and HUD information can be repeated on the MFD. The instructor has a seperate UHF (ARC-159) controller which can overide the unit in the front. The rear cockpit also has its own environmental controls. Note the canopy support - the canopy is in the raised position.
