Taken at Warbirds over Wanaka, Luggate Airfield, April 23, 2002. Rear fuselage and control surfaces - starboard side. The wooden framing that surrounds the tubular steel framing of the fuselage can be discerned under the fabric covering. The vertical and horizontal tail surfaces have aluminium leading edges and fabric covering. The rudder and elevators are fabric covered. The top of the rudder extends forward with a mass balance. The rear aerial mast extends up from the sternpost. The main aerial mast can be seen to the right of the picture.
