Taken at Whenuapai, March 17, 2001. Forward fuselage - starboard side - this shows the stencilling below the windscreen. Note the use of the last two digits of the aircraft serial. The bird is a Kea (a New Zealand Mountain Parrot) and commonly seen on 14 SQN and some other Ohakea aircraft. In front of the windscreen is a pitot head with cover fitted. The remove-before-flight tag is fitted to the cover on the angle-of-attack sensor. This is labelled above the sensor, while below it says:
