Taken at Whenuapai, March 17, 2001. A closeup of the top of the vertical stabiliser from starboard looking at the various aerials fitted. The white blades on either side of the stabiliser are to pick up the localiser ILS signal. The housing at the top contains the VHF-FM antenna, and the VHF-AM/ELT blade. The associated electronics are fitted in the nose (see image 339ohk5). Note the black circle featuring a white kiwi - this is another long-term emblem of 14 Squadron.
