E.R. Brewster aircraft

Taken at Taranaki Aviation, Transport, and Technology Museum, March 1997. This birdlike construction by E.R. Brewster at New Plymouth was intended to be cloth covered and fitted with an engine. Mr Brewster was a firm believer in the use of honeycomb construction, taken from his philosphy that there are no right angles in nature, which he also applied to house-building and furniture construction.
