ZK-AMO 'Aranui'

Taken at the Museum of Transport and Technology, November 18th,1996. This image is looking up at the huge tail section of the flying boat. At over 11 m (37'), the building housing this aircraft was specially constructed and the top of the vertical stabiliser is slotted between the ridge beams. Note the large window right at the rear of the aircraft.
