Taken at the Classic Fighters Airshow. April 14, 2001. Climbing fast on that big propeller while streaming smoke. The most disconcerting aspect of watching this aircraft was the sound - I'd heard about the distinctive whistle, but in some turns the engine and propellor note were definitely DC-3!
