Taken at the Classic Fighters Airshow. April 14, 2001. A topside pass gives a nice angle on the Boomerang. having only previously seen the type in photographs, I'd always thought the type looked almost cartoonlike - short, stumpy, and rounded like a caricature of a 1930's fighter. But in the air it is really something to see!
